Peplum

Peplum, is that even a trend? Does it matter? It's a delightful artifice. Worn as a top, like that girl from stockholm streetstyle, skirt or dress, a peplum silhouette is singular. Like so much of women's clothing, it gives an hourglass figure, but what peplum specifically does is add volume to the belly. After all those Pilates classes.... enlarge your belly. But there's a subtle rational at play. The peplum mimics pregnancy, a look that is not sexy, but rather, extremely feminine.

A peplumed lady should expect a serious level of courtesy. It's another form of feminine persuasion, distinct from Hello Boys devices. Other women find the look "lovely", instead of being mildly offended. With a good shimmer, there's even that pregnancy glow. Trend or not, peplum is definitely one for the arsenal.
